Kempinski Engelberg Takes The Crown Of The Swiss Alps.

Found at the foot of Mount Titlis, Kempinski Engelberg becomes the first 5-star hotel in the region. This magnificent hotel not only attracts those seeking their next Instagram picture, but also those who are interested in culture and history. With a story as old as 1889 when the hotel was originally built as a hospital by hotelier Eduard Cattani. The rich history of the building continues in 1904, when Cattani repurposed the hospital to become Hotel Winterhaus. Since the 1904 renovation, the architecture has remained a hotel, with the Kempinski brand being the latest purchaser in 2016.

The 129 room hotel provides the perfect ski location, being a stone’s throw away from the train station and only a few minutes from the funiculars, as it is less than 5 minutes walk from the train station. With such big attractions being so close to the hotel, this Kempinski hotel is the ideal location for winter lovers and summer explorers.

Andreas Magnus, general manager of the new palace said:

“Luxury hospitality is about people and their talent for creating warm and sophisticated environments for guests to enjoy.”

Indeed, warm and sophisticated environments are definitely created with Airtime being available in every room.  The infotainment system was crafted and installed by Techlive’s Swiss partner in chief, Hotel Innovativ; adding to an already impressive portfolio of luxury hotels across Switzerland.  The wide and diverse category of entertainment available means that every Kempinski guest is able to access their favourite genre with a click of a button. With the latest QR Code technology,  guests have access to some of the most sophisticated hotel entertainment technology. Kempinski guests already have access to F9:The Fast Saga, The Forever Purge, and Raya And The Last Dragon.
