Airtime is commercially available in hospitality verticals including hotels, hospitals, maritime and offshore. Geographically Airtime is available in 192 countries excluding USA, Canada, Iran, Saudi Arabia, China, and Russia.

Airtime is available on leading hospitality Smart TVs and STB’s from Samsung, Philips, and LG from Techlive International.  Airtime can be easily downloaded from the relevant OEM app stores and has total integration with leading system integrator middleware. Samsung:

Download Airtime from the  Samsung Smart hub and activate using credentials provided by Techlive.

LG: 

Download Airtime from the LG pre-loaded apps section, in the hospitality menu, which varies by territory. Airtime can also be loaded manually using LG ASL functionality. Activate using credentials provided by Techlive.

Philips:

Within the Philips professional menu, Airtime can be selected from either App Control browser, under Global Apps, or from the CMND interface. Activate using credentials provided by Techlive.

The speed of the internet connection required depends on the commercial models deployed as this effects the usage rates. The content is streamed using ABR (Adaptive Bit Rate) technology meaning the streams can run from as little as 1.2Mbps up to 5.2Mbps for the HD content.

Multi-language support currently includes English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Chinese, Dutch, Portuguese, Polish and Turkish.

There are two models available:

  • The Guest Complimentary Model: Over 100 films, TV features, lifestyle content, and live channels are offered to the guest as part of their stay. Premium (c.12 -15 titles) and adult movies remain chargeable. There is no capital cost for the service.

  • The Guest Pay Model: The guest pays as they play via a secure payment gateway. This option is available at no ongoing cost to the hotel or integrator.

The two models can be combined to generate a premium service. E.g. VIP rooms can be given the Hybrid Free-To-Guest model and the standard rooms can be given the Guest Pay model.
