The five star Gstaad Palace first opened its doors in December 1913 and has been owned and managed by three generations of the Scherz family. It is one of the last family-run establishments in Europe. Offering a first-class experience, provided for by hospitality professionals, Gstaad Palace is the place to stay. Airtime has been installed in partnership with the telecoms giant Swisscom on Samsung’s Reach hospitality system. In addition, Airtime offers multi-language movies in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Russian. If this wasn’t enough, guests will also have access to subtitles in Chinese, Arabic, Turkish, Polish, and Portuguese.

After watching their new favorite movie, guests can dine at five different restaurants with Italian and international specialties. Most importantly, the gourmet cuisine has been awarded 15 Gault-Millau points. For a more soothing pastime, guests can indulge their senses in the 1800 square meter Palace Spa. During the summer months, an Olympic-sized outdoor pool and four tennis courts are available. Those wanting a very unique experience of the luxury and tranquillity of the Saanenland can book a stay at the Palace’s Walig Hut. Situated at 1700 meters above the sea, this alpine cabin dates back to 1783. As a result, the Palace encompasses a truly authentic landscape. The Scherz family welcomes guests from 21 December to 7 March 2021 and from 19 June 2021 to 12 September 2021.
