Hyatt is adding Airtime, a cloud-based app which will promote our new guest experience category Hyatt Wellness (free to view), along with a variety of great movies, music concerts, cultural, lifestyle programs and free international news channels.
Peloton, Master Class and Headspace programs are included under the new guest experience Hyatt Wellness category on Airtime, Hyatt’s Preferred Partner for delivery of this new hotel standard.

Q: How can guests access Hyatt Wellness content?
A: There will be a “Movies & Wellness” button on the main menu from which will open the Airtime APP, where the Hyatt Wellness Content resides. Guests can then access Peleton, Masterclass and Headspace features at no cost.
Q: How can guests access other content like movies and music concerts?
A: Within Airtime, guests can preview the trailers and select a movie to view. The cost will then be displayed alongside a QR code which can be scanned. Payment is then made through the PCI compliant Stripe payment gateway. There is also some free to view content such as Global Fashion Channel and several international news channels.
Q:What happens if there is a problem?
A: Airtime manages any guest issues through the in-built help menu, where an email can be generated to the Airtime support desk. This alleviates any potential issues with the front desk staff as in the unlikely event of a refund being required, these are made by the Airtime support team directly back to the customers’ personal account.
Q: How will this affect my hotel bandwidth?
A: Airtime is less bandwidth hungry than consumer applications and uses ABR (Adaptive Bit Rate) technology to manage the bandwidth, meaning the streams can run from as little as 1.2Mbps up to 7.2Mbps for the HD content.
